Mr. Zvi Lando joined SolarEdge as VP Global Sales in May 2009, intended to build and lead SolarEdge sales and service infrastructure globally. A seasoned business executive, Mr. Lando has experience managing businesses of more than 200 people and several hundred million dollars.

Mr. Lando came to SolarEdge after 16 years in Applied Materials, based in Santa Clara, California. Starting in 1993 as a process engineer of metal deposition and chemical vapor deposition systems and eventually managing the Ti/TiN CVD Deposition Product Unit for 3 years. 

From October 2001 to December 2008, Mr. Lando served as the Business Manager for the Process Diagnostic & Control Group of Applied Materials, based in Rehovot, Israel.  In this role he was responsible for all PDC business activities including revenue and customer satisfaction.  In 2005 he was appointed Vice President of Applied Materials. In January 2008 Mr. Lando was appointed General Manger of  the Baccini Cell Systems (BCS) Division in the Applied Materials Solar Business Group, based on Baccini Spa which was acquired by Applied Materials at that time. Mr. Lando served in this role through February 2009.

Mr. Lando holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology in Haifa, and is the author of several publications in the field of Chemical Deposition.
