Mr. Alex Bronfer is responsible for the company’s custom Integrated Circuit development, silicon process engineering, testing and ASIC qualification.

Mr. Bronfer brings more than 20 years of experience in ASIC development, with extensive knowledge in low DPPM design and methodology.

Prior to joining SolarEdge in January 2008, Mr. Bronfer held a broad range of technical management positions over his almost 10-year career at Texas Instruments, including ASIC design manager of the first TI single RFCMOS chip and ASIC department manager of TI SDW BU.  In 1996 Mr. Bronfer joined the startup Butterfly Ltd., where he was responsible for the architecture and design of the company's first ASIC, leading to the company's acquisition by TI in 1999.

Mr. Bronfer holds a M.Sc. from St.Petersburg State Transport University in Electrical Engineering.
