    Location: Northern Spain


    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
    • Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts
    • Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors and utility companies
    • Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
    • Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at all levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
    • Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
    • Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the Spanish market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
    • Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory
    • Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand
    • Attend tradeshows and conferences 
    • Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met


    Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree. BS in a related technical disciplines such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering a plus
    • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in technical sales
    • Previous experience in the PV industry - a significant advantage
    • Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement
    • Candidates should have a verifiable record of successfully growing market share
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms
    • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating/converting and closing large dollar deals
    • Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships
    • Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
    • A distinct customer service focus
    • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience working for an international organization is preferred
    • Fluent in Spanish and English
    • A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do and hands-on attitude
    • Technical savvy
    • An energetic, highly motivated and driven person who is willing to roll up his/her sleeves and do whatever is necessary to guarantee the success of the company

    For our Iberia team we are looking for a committed, flexible, performance-oriented and self-responsible reinforcement in the field of technical marketing. As a specialist in Technical Marketing, you will work directly with our Sales Team and customers in the market and will therefore be the first point of contact for technical questions for our customers and for organizational interfaces regarding technical questions. You will be part of the Global Product management team and represent the Spanish and Portuguese market requirements for new products, features and regulations. This requires a high degree of flexibility, motivation and reliability. 
     

    Responsibilities:
     

    • Contact person for sales and direct customers for product-related questions
    • Suggest  of technical solutions for product applications
    • Represent the Iberia market requirements for new products, features and regulations Development, maintenance and further development of product-related training documents and training tools
    • Expansion and maintenance of contacts with energy suppliers and grid operators as well as industry committees
    • Development and implementation of structured qualification measures in sales (product training)
    • Conduct customer training via online tools or on-site support at the customer's site
    • Updating and revision of technical documentation
    • Collaboration in product and market-related competitor analyses
    • Support for product launches

     

    Requirements:
     

    • A BA/BS in a related technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc
    • Strong technical background in both Hardware and Software, preferably from Technical pre-sale  or technical account management  with strong capability of  project management
    • Affinity to technical products and renewable energy (a must!)
    • Confident handling of MS Office programs
    • Programming skills (VBA) are an advantage
    • Knowledge of Modbus interfaces and Modbus programming skills are an advantage
    • Fluent in written and spoken language in Spanish and English
    • Independent and proactive working style, commitment, ability to work in a team, very good communication skills
    • Fast learner, adaptive character type, team player
    • Willingness to travel (up to 40%)
    • Home office based
