    Job Description

    SolarEdge is a global leader in smart energy management solutions.

    We are looking for a Marketing Student working Part-Time up to 20 hours per week, who will report to the Marketing Manager of SolarEdge UK, and you will have to implement the necessary marketing actions to support SolarEdge's marketing strategy, with the objective of making SolarEdge the first brand of smart energy solutions in the UK. Your touchpoints will be primarily B2B, but with an increasing focus on B2C strategy. You will be mainly based in the St Neots Office but you will be required to travel from time to time to organize events.

    Your missions:

    • Know what SolarEdge products and services you sell and why and bring new ideas to beat the competition.
    • Define and implement the communication plan for prospects and B2B customers, via emails and social networks, using marketing automation tools.
    • Organize events from A to Z (trade fairs, customer events, trainings): define a creative concept, research and book venues, order gifts and brochures, send eye-catching invitations, follow up with participants afterwards.
    • Support SolarEdge customers to help them boost their business: brochures, marketing support for trade shows, creation of co-branded media, goodies, etc.
    • Create quality content: posts, case studies, articles, testimonials, videos, PPT presentations, etc.
    • Analyze the results of your marketing actions and provide strategic recommendations.
    • Represent the values ​​of the SolarEdge brand during all your interactions with customers and prospects.

    Required Skills:

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
    • Training: marketing and/or communication
    • Passion for renewable energies, new technologies - appreciated
    • Organization and management of priorities, reliability and respect of deadlines

    Your tasks

    • Installation and commissioning of our residential and commercial locations
    • Independent and self-responsible execution of maintenance, repair and repair work, as well as training at our customers' site
    • Instruction of our customers as well as implementation of  customer-specific settings on site
    • Customer advice regarding technical equipment and services
    • Update the knowledge base used by other technical support staff with new troubleshooting information
    • You document, edit, monitor and coordinate your assignments independently (in the support tool, CRM)

    Your profile

    • Committed and responsible personality with a completed electrotechnical training or a subject-specific, completed degree
    • You have a high affinity for photovoltaics and have initial experience in service, customer service or maintenance
    • You speak confidently and situationally, but always friendly with customers, employees and partners
    • You have mastered all common Microsoft Office products and can use them safely
    • You have a excellent command of English

    Your tasks

    Processing of Tier 1 escalated calls, chats, and emails from customers and contractors

    • Onsite/offsite analysis and troubleshooting of, among other things, optimizers, inverters, EV chargers, battery systems or Smart Energy solutions as well as complex communication processes
    • Update the knowledge base used by other technical support staff with new troubleshooting information
    • You will document, process, monitor, and coordinate your inquiries (in the support tool, CRM)
    • You check and authorize replacement deliveries in cooperation with involved departments
    • You will work closely with Technical Support – Tier 3 and R&D
    • You take on tasks in our Buddy System and support our Tier 1 colleagues

     

    Your profile

    • Committed and responsible personality with a completed, subject-specific degree or comparable qualification (professional experience in service, customer service or maintenance are an advantage)
    • You have a high affinity for photovoltaics – an advantage
    • You are communicative and like to make phone calls and master the rules of e-mail communication
    • You speak confidently and situationally, but always friendly with customers, employees and partners
    • You have mastered all common Microsoft Office products and can use them safely
    • Native English Speaker
