Mr. Zvi Lando joined SolarEdge in 2009 as our Vice President, Global Sales.
Mr. Lando had previously spent 16 years at Applied Materials, based in Santa Clara, California, where he held several positions, including process engineer for metal deposition and chemical vapor deposition systems, business manager for the Process Diagnostic and Control Group, Vice President, and General Manager of the Baccini Cell Systems Division in the Applied Materials Solar Business Group.
Mr. Lando holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa, and is the author of several publications in the field of chemical deposition.
Mr. Ronen Faier joined SolarEdge in 2011 as our Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Faier served from 2008 to 2010 as the Chief Financial Officer of modu Ltd, a privately owned Israeli company. Between 2004 and 2007, Mr. Faier held several senior finance positions, including Chief Financial Officer at Msystems prior to its acquisition by SanDisk Corporation in 2006.
Mr. Faier holds a CPA (Israel) license, an MBA (with Honors) from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Ms. Rachel Prishkolnik joined SolarEdge in 2010 as our Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mrs. Prishkolnik served as the Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. At Gilat she held various positions beginning as Legal Counsel in 2001 and becoming Corporate Secretary in 2004 and Vice President, General Counsel in 2007. Prior to Gilat, she worked at the law firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP in Los Angeles.
Ms. Prishkolnik holds an LLB law degree from the Faculty of Law at the Tel Aviv University and a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She is licensed to practice law and is a member of the Israeli Bar.
Mr. Uri Bechor joined SolarEdge in 2019 as our Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Bechor was at Flex for 22 years where he served as Senior Vice President, Global Operations, Europe and the Americas and General Manager at Flex International Ltd. Mr. Bechor, in his previous position, oversaw more than forty manufacturing sites and was responsible for revenues of more than $10 billion.
Mr. Yoav Galin co-founded SolarEdge in 2006 and has served since our founding as our Vice President, Research & Development where he is responsible for leading the execution of our technology strategy, building and managing the technology team and overseeing research and development of SolarEdge’s innovative PV power harvesting products.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Galin served for 11 years at the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. During this period, Mr. Galin held various research and development and management positions.
Mr. Galin holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Meir Adest co-founded SolarEdge in 2006 and has served since 2007 as our Vice President, Core Technologies where he is responsible for SolarEdge’s certification and research of future technologies. He was appointed to serve as our Chief Information Officer in 2018 and appointed as Chief Product & Information Officer in 2020.
Prior to co-founding SolarEdge, Mr. Adest spent 7 years at the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems, where he held a number of positions and managed large-scale techno-operational projects.
Mr. Adest holds a B.Sc in mathematics, physics, and computer science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Mr. Ilan Yoscovich joined SolarEdge in 2008 and currently serves as our Chief Technology Officer.
Mr. Yoscovich is responsible for leading our future technology strategy, managing some of the most innovative PV power harvesting development activities within the Company and overseeing research and development and product activities with respect to technology, intellectual property, performance and cost structure. Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Yoscovich served as Chief Technology Officer of Slyde Technologies, a wireless technology start-up company, between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Yoscovich spent 10 years with the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. During this period, Mr. Yoscovich held various research and development and management positions.
Mr. Yoscovich holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Ms. Shuli Sharabani Ishai joined SolarEdge in 2020 as our Vice President of Global Human Resources.
Ms. Ishai brings a wealth of experience to her role, previously serving as Executive Vice President of HR and MIS at Stratasys, Chief Resource Officer at Netafim, and Corporate Vice President of HR at Nice.
Ms. Ishai holds a BA and an MA in Art History from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Organizational Behavior from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Peter Mathews leads the North America team as General Manager for SolarEdge in the Americas and is responsible for all business activities in this region.
Mr. Matthews is a veteran of more than 25 years in the global semiconductor and solar industries where he worked in various management positions including senior sales, marketing and business development roles. He has led various companies through the start-up, IPO and growth phases including Enecsys, Solyndra and FormFactor.
Mr. Alfred Karlstetter joined SolarEdge in 2015 as the General Manager of SolarEdge Europe.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Karlstetter was the Vice President of Global Sales for Samil Power, a global inverter company headquartered in China. From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Karlstetter was the Vice President of European Sales and Global Accounts for SMA, the leading inverter company at the time. Before entering the PV industry, Mr. Karlstetter held senior technology and sales positions in the semiconductor and electronics industry at KEMET Electronics and Epcos.
Mr. Karlstetter holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich.
Mr. James Higgins joined SolarEdge in 2015 as the General Manager of China and South East Asia and is responsible for all business activities in this region.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Higgins was the General Manager and Vice President of Operations for Tigo Energy Inc. responsible for global operations and business activities in China. Prior to that he spent 12 years at MKS Instruments, a leading global supplier of instruments, subsystems and process control solutions where he held various senior operations and management positions.
Mr. Higgins holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Mr. Daniel Huber joined SolarEdge in 2010 and leads our sales and operations in Australia, Japan, India, LATAM, Africa and Israel.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Huber held various executive sales and business management positions in SolarEdge, and prior to that, in Baccini Cell Systems, a division in the Applied Materials Solar Business Group.
Mr. Huber Holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management, from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Alon Barel joined SolarEdge in 2011. Prior to his current position, Mr. Barel held multiple executive sales and business management positions in SolarEdge.
Before joining SolarEdge, Mr. Barel held sales, business development and project management positions in cybersecurity and defense companies including Indegy (acquired by Tenable), Safend (acquired by Wave Systems), Aeronautics, and Elbit Systems.
Mr. Barel holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Yogev Barak joined SolarEdge in 2021 as our Chief Marketing Officer.
Mr. Barak brings to SolarEdge over twenty-five years of experience in international marketing, strategy and product management, including executive management positions at HP Inc. and Applied Materials.
In his most recent role, Mr. Barak served as Head of Strategy, Marketing, Products and Business Management at HP Indigo Division.
Mr. Barak holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Alon Shapira joined SolarEdge in 2012 and currently serves as the company’s Vice President, Quality and Reliability.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Shapira served over 19 years in multiple leadership positions with the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. His positions at ERD included serving as deputy to the head of the ERD,Vice President of Research and Development.
Mr. Shapira holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (summa cum laude) from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Systems (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Amir Fishelov is a co-founder of SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. and serves as its Chief Software Architect. Mr. Fishelov's responsibilities include managing the software group and overseeing the technical architecture of its software. In addition, Mr. Fishelov also leads the software projects developed by SolarEdge sub-contractors.
Prior to co-founding SolarEdge Technologies, Mr. Fishelov served for six and a half years in the Electronics Research Department (ERD), one of Israel's national labs which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems, where he held various positions. Mr. Fishelov received the prestigious National Technological Innovation Award in 2001 and again in 2003.
Mr. Fishelov holds a B.A in computer science from the Open University in Israel.
Mr. Liron Har-Shai joined SolarEdge in 2009 and is currently responsible for all hardware Research and Development, as well as leading SolarEdge’s R&D program management.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Har-Shai served for 8 years in the Electronics Research Department (ERD), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. During this period, Mr. Har-Shai held various positions, and managed numerous innovative, multi-disciplinary large scale techno-operational projects.
Mr. Har-Shai holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa, and an M.Sc in Bio-Medical Engineering (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University.
Ms. Naama Ohana joined SolarEdge in 2013, and is currently leading our global commercial business unit. Previously she held various executive sales and business management positions in SolarEdge.
Prior to joining SolarEdge, she worked at Bosch Israel, managing purchasing, service, and business development for the renewable energy division.
Ms. Ohana holds a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering and Management, from Ben Gurion University and a Global M.B.A., from IDC Herzeliya.
Mr. Itai Rosenfeld joined SolarEdge in October 2018 as Vice President of the new Critical Power Division, following the company’s acquisition of Gamatronic.
Mr. Rosenfeld has over 20 years of managerial experience leading development and product groups at companies which include semiconductor equipment company, Applied Materials. There he served as the company’s General Manager, Business Unit Head and as President of Israeli operations. In these positions Mr. Rosenfeld was responsible for a wide range of activities including Strategy, Operations, R&D, Manufacturing, Product, Customer Support and Marketing. Before joining SolarEdge, Mr. Rosenfeld was EVP of Global Technology at Stratasys, the world’s leading 3D printing company.
Mr. Rosenfeld holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Guy Sella was one of the founders of SolarEdge and served as the Chairman of the board of directors and Chief Executive Officer from the company's inception in 2006 until his death in August 2019.
His contribution to the growth and success of SolarEdge is immeasurable.
