Inside Sales Representative (ACH)

The SolarEdge Sales Team is looking for an Inside Sales representative responsible for supporting our installers with technical knowledge and expertise to create and qualify leads and follow up on prospects. Your main areas of responsibility are to initiate installer oriented communications (via phone & email), and reaching-out and contacting prospective & existing clients to answer product and design related questions, hence to increase the sales of SolarEdge products. You will be joining a successful and growing sales team, and will be working with Sales Managers and potential clients.


What will you be doing?

  • Point of contact for Sales and installation companies for product-related questions
  • Support in planning and designing of residential and commercial sites
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions and competitive positioning
  • Suggest of technical solutions for product applications
  • Close sales via phone
  • Deftly navigate around the gate keeper to secure and schedule sales appointments for field sales representatives
  • Consistently provide advanced, courteous and professional & focused assistance to customers
  • Work closely with distributors by developing a strong network as well as providing timely benefit, value and product training
  • Inter-department communications – develop great relationships with other SolarEdge departments and take the lead to resolve issues
  • Obtains names and contact information of potential customers from sales team, , and marketing inquiries
  • Maintaining CRM database with leads and follow up, as well as tracking revenue associated with leads
  • Meet activity based metrics


Requirements:

  • Relevant technical experience in inside sales or background in electrical/PV installations
  • Previous experience in the PV industry – a plus
  • Strong technical argumentation with the ability to understand the customer needs and provide solutions - A distinct customer service focus
  • Experience working for an international organization – not a must
  • Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
  • Fluent in German and English – a must, French or Italian - a plus
  • Independent and proactive working style, commitment
  • Fast learner, adaptive character type, team player
  • Experience with CRM preferred
  • Home office based or Munich
