Technical Service Engineer – Tier 1

Your tasks

  • Processing of incoming calls, chats and e-mails from customers and contractors, including for
  • Onsite/Offsite fix of optimizer error
  • Onsite/Offsite troubleshooting of inverters
  • Onsite/offsite communication troubleshooting
  • Update the knowledge base used by other technical support staff with new troubleshooting information
  • You document, process, monitor and coordinate your inquiries (in the support tool, CRM)
  • You check and authorize replacement deliveries in cooperation with involved departments
  • You create support orders for Technical Support – Tier 2 and monitor the implementation


Your profile

Committed and responsible personality with a completed electrotechnical education (professional experience in service, customer service or maintenance is an advantage) or a subject-specific, completed degree

  • You have a high affinity for photovoltaics – an advantage
  • You are communicative and like to make phone calls and master the rules of e-mail communication
  • You speak confidently and situationally, but are always friendly with customers, employees, and partners
  • You have mastered all common Microsoft Office products and can use them safely
  • You have a good command of both German and English
