Reliability Testing Team Leader

Job Description

SolarEdge is a top global leader, manufacturing smart energy solutions. The company produces a broad range of products at high volumes and with extensive requirements for long term performance and stability. You will be joining the Reliability branch of the Quality and Reliability team in its challenge to provide low-cost products with long product lifetimes.

What will you be doing:

  • Managing the reliability LAB and team
  • Planning and building reliability test set up including automation
  • Scheduling of LAB activities, long and short term
  • Managing the priorities of reliability testing
  • Planning and ensuring the availability of all test related equipment
  • Reviewing, challenging and approving test setups designed by your team for validation tests of new products
  • Providing guidance in the troubleshooting of ongoing experiments
  • Work closely with other departments such as R&D, engineering, Operations
  • Reviewing and approving test reports
  • Responsible for future lab expansion plans and equipment requirements


  • Team leading experience – at least 3 years
  • In depth understanding of both analog and digital electronics
  • A degree in electrical engineering or a practical engineering degree with 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Ownership – You are expected to take the lead in all aspects of all tasks that are performed by the lab team
  • Hands on experience in power/analog electronics and test set ups of such products
  • Experience with test equipment set up
  • Excellent English - both written and spoken
  • Extensive knowledge of office applications - Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word
  • Experience with safety aspects of high voltage work- advantage
  • Experience with test automation - advantage
