Technical Marketing Trainer

Technical Trainer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a schedule to assess technical training needs
  • Conduct employee, customer surveys and interviews
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership for training direction
  • Track and compile collected data on online training platform
  • Communicate training needs and online resources
  • Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials
  • Test and review created materials
  • Maintain a database of all training materials
  • Conduct training through new materials both on-site and online platforms
  • Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules and equipment needs

Technical Trainer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or related field
  • Certification from talent and training associations a plus, PV knowledge is also a plus
  • Two (2) years’ previous experience as a technical trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite and instructional software
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Organized and able to create/maintain multiple timelines and schedules
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
