What will you be doing:
 

  • Oversight of SolarEdge Holland local financial activities
  • Oversight of outsourced accounting and bookkeeping 
  • Assistance in preparing, implementing and controlling the local budget and operating expenses
  • Preparation of monthly reports to the Corporate finance department
  • Review vendor’s invoices and preparation of payments to vendors
  • Review of expense reports from employees and ensure their alignment to company’s policies
  • Analyze and ensure proper journal entries and classifications in the General Ledger
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures in accordance with HQ guidance and practices by analyzing current procedures
  • Assist and provide accounting and finance support to the local management and departments
  • Leading the expansion of the local finance team as needed
  • Protecting the company assets by ensuring the proper registration in the company fixed assets ledger and the company books
  • Ensure appropriate provisions are recorded in the books
  • Oversight of the preparation and filing of the legally required tax return and other state related registrations
  • Providing assistance in the inventory management, costing and reporting practices. 
  • Working with HQ finance functions on ad hoc projects

 

Skills/Qualifications:
 

  • Detailed-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and team management skills and priority setting skills.
  • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge working with ERP – advantage
  • Hand-on approach
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

 

Experience:
 

4-5 years in an accounting firm (senior assistant) or 1-2 years private or public company similar experience
