Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • coordinate and monitor the receipt, order and dispatch of goods (Solar & UPSs)
  • space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
  • keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
  • plan future capacity requirements in coordination with operation and project managers
  • coordinate planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • coordinate maintenance and operation of warehouse and building 
  • implement warehouse and building health and safety requirements 
  • process RMA’s 
  • process stock takes 
  • coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
  • produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis


Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in an administrative role, logistics administration preferred 
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office 
  • Experience using ERP software, Priority preferred 
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential 
  • Drivers license
