The Embedded teams develop all the SW in company products and deals with multi tasks (power conversion algorithmic, communication algorithmic, optimizations, RT problems) and platforms (DSPs, Company’s ASIC, operating systems).
Our technological challenges taking part in the following fields: power electronics, digital close loop control and digital signal processing algorithms implemented on the company microprocessors.
The DSP engineer will design and implement physical layer algorithms for power line communication (PLC) systems on multiple chips platforms including the company unique chip.
Be part of developing next generation of PLC solutions which allow SolarEdge system components to communicate as part of the company state of the art power harvesting optimization solution.
Responsible for the following project mile stones- concept level, simulation, implement in floating/fixed point and lead the performance evaluation.
Work close to DSP/ algorithms experts from other fields for useful idea sharing.
3+ years of experience in the field of PHY algorithms development and implementation.
Professional with using MATLAB for algorithm development– mandatory Deep understanding of DSP algorithms.
Experienced with embedded SW.
Familiar with FSK, PSK modulations.
Experience in lab work and testing equipment.
C , MATLAB- mandatory
Education: B.Sc/M.Sc in Electrical Engineering specialized in fields of DSP and communication- mandatory.
Computer science- advantage.
C , MATLAB- mandatory.
