    SolarEdge is looking for a proven industry leader to drive our commercial sales group and execute on a plan of continued revenue and market share growth. Complimenting our current product portfolio and project runway is an enviable roadmap of market shaping technologies reaching across BESS, commercial EV charging solutions and grid services platforms.

    This position can be remote in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

    What will you be doing?

    • This position will be business development-focused and require subject matter expertise in Renewable Energy technology, sales strategy, project development, policy, and financial modeling
    • Oversee and optimize all aspects and the commercial sales process from pre-contact customer qualification, through design validation and order confirmation
    • Oversee the commercial sales team with a key focus achieving revenue and margin objectives
    • Collaborate with internal engineering resources to influence technical specifications
    • Create partnerships with new corporate customers and support our existing customers’ growth and success
    • Develop and manage an account base to achieve sales and margin objectives.
    • Build relationships of trust with our customers in collaboration with other team members through open communication
    • Reinforce partnerships with all stakeholders of the projects and effectively communicate and deliver on the SolarEdge value proposition
    • Implement and continually improve the effectiveness of sales processes, approaches, tools, and metrics to maximize opportunity conversion and forecasting accuracy.
    • You will support financial analysis and evaluation of potential projects with your Key Accounts, creative deal structuring and new financing strategies
    • Represent SolarEdge in public meetings, industry forums and networking events
    • Have a strong understanding of the PV industry, with knowledge of EPC, installer, and distribution channel business models

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of commercial business experience
    • PV/ Solar/ Energy Storage experience- a must!
    • The capacity to engage and influence corporate and executive level stakeholders
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in an Engineering or Business-related discipline
    • Integrity driven leadership skills, with a professional and innovative mindset
    • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
    • Broad based working knowledge of distributed network service providers (DNSPs), retail energy markets, the national energy market (NEM) and the new energy technologies disrupting this framework

    Job Description

    The SolarEdge Sales Team is looking for an Inside Sales representative responsible for lead generation efforts to qualify new business prospects, new account onboarding and customer retention activities. Your main areas of responsibility are to initiate outbound/inbound communications (via phone & email), and reaching-out and contacting prospective & existing clients to increase the sales of SolarEdge products. You will be joining a successful and growing sales team, and will be working with Sales Managers and potential clients.

    What will you be doing:

    • Cultivate and follow up on distribution and solar PV installer leads.
    • Work closely with distributors by developing a strong network as well as providing timely benefit, value and product training.
    • Follow-up on first time installers/purchasers of SolarEdge Solutions to ensure a smooth introduction of SolarEdge processes and system to their business to facilitate further sales.
    • Follow-up on installers and solar retail businesses who have not installed SolarEdge solutions for 6-12mths, seek to understand and address their concerns.
    • Obtains names and contact information of potential customers from sales team, inbound inquiries and purchased lists.
    • Outbound calls to new business development targets to generate strong new business leads for State Managers
    • Deftly navigate around the gate keeper to secure and schedule sales appointments for field sales representatives.
    • Prioritize targets by utilizing industry data and public databases.
    • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions and competitive positioning via up-sell of additional products and services.
    • Close sales via phone.
    • Assist with the onboarding of new accounts by training key customer personnel on SolarEdge systems and processes.
    • Inter-department communications – develop great relationships with other SolarEdge departments and take the lead to resolve issues.

    Requirements:

    • Ideally a minimum 3+ years’ experience in technical sales
    • Previous experience in the PV industry – a plus!
    • Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and successfully growing market share and identifying, negotiating/converting and closing large dollar deals
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
    • Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships

    Job Description

    A critical role within the ANZ SolarEdge Energy Services Division with strong links to the Energy Services sales team and Kokam Division (sales, technical and support) at SolarEdge. The role will focus on keeping multiple Energy Storage System (ESS) commercial and utility projects on track for SolarEdge and our customers, both new projects and operational sites. As a service engineer you will deliver services to customers: supporting commissioning; troubleshooting and problem solving; warranty services; and maintenance services. To deliver this you will need excellent technical skills, ability to work remotely while collaborating with our application engineers, HQ operations, and clients to deliver quality service outcomes.

    **Based in Perth**

    What will you be doing?

    General & Technical 

    • Risk & HSE – Work to HSE requirements of SolarEdge and our customers, including daily site visit reports, completion of site inductions and maintaining a safe work environment
    • Certifications – Ensure that all qualifications remain up to date. These included. CPR, First Aid and LVR, driver’s license, car certificates and certificates for tools including PPE
    • Manage Customers & Suppliers - Develop direct relationships with project participants, deliver solutions to issues as they arise and manage SEDG scope and obligations. This includes successfully managing difficult conversations with customers and/or suppliers on technical requirements
    • Issues Resolution – Working with ESS Project Lead and support teams to resolve issues over the phone with qualified personnel when on site or remotely
    • Training – Prepare for and deliver technical ESS training for our partners and customers as required.  

    Commissioning

    • On-site – work with our integration and installation partners/customers to support integration and commissioning works. This will be at their site, or for commissioning at the end customer’s site
    • Commissioning – work with our application engineering team and customers to develop solutions for new projects

    Warranty

    • Responsiveness – Our customers work in time critical environments. This role requires proactive response to customer needs for arranging warranty and return materials authorised processes
    • Validation – collect robust information and evidence around the warranty claim Maintenance Services
    • Delivery – Deliver on SolarEdge Energy Services contracted maintenance service obligations. Maintaining a high quality of work, communication and response to our customer needs
    • Reporting – Provide data to our HQ for analysis, understand the data and support the delivery of the findings to our customers

    Requirements:

    • WA Electrical contractors license
    • WA Valid driver license
    • WA white card – construction safety induction training
    • First Aid & CPR certification
    • CEC Certification (preferred, not mandatory)
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Contractor
    • At least 3 years to have been with commercial and/or utility scale ESS
    • At least 2 years in a customer facing role
    • Warranty claim evaluation and resolution
    • Ability to travel, predominantly within Western Australia
    • Ability to deliver technical training to hands on teams (customers & partners)
    • Ability to meet induction requirements for mining sites across WA
