    We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our office in Bangalore that will be responsible for SolarEdge’s marketing in India and Sri-Lanka markets. You will report directly to the India & Sri Lanka Country Head and to the Senior Marketing Manager RoW, in a matrix-management structure. You may be expected to travel within the region in order to meet customers and attend and organise events.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Create, implement and maintain a marketing strategy for SolarEdge, with the vision based on SolarEdge being the #1 choice for smart energy solutions
    • Perform market research and analysis and obtain valuable insights into the regions’ PV market and customers - and use these insights to grow market share
    • Develop and initiate various marketing (online and offline) activities for the market (within the annual marketing budget for the region, which you will manage)
    • Collaborate with distributors, installers, and developers on marketing initiatives
    • Manage the end-to-end production of events including exhibitions, seminars, webinars, customer trainings and customer events (including managing timelines, venues, suppliers, payments, legal obligations, staffing and budgets, invitations etc).
    • Develop marketing content for brochures, case studies, campaigns, sales presentations, and social media platforms
    • Plan and execute digital campaigns for lead generation
    • Work closely with the sales managers to understand their challenges and needs, and support their efforts to increase sales in the region
    • Work closely with HQ marketing & product marketing managers, MarCom staff, graphic designers, on production of events and materials


     

    Education: Bachelor/Master Degree – Preferred 

     


    Professional Qualifications:

    • 5 years’ experience as a marketing manager 
    • Industry Experience (highly preferable but not essential): renewable energy, high-tech, power electronics, electric vehicle industries 
    • Experience with Marketing Automation tools – newsletters, landing pages
    • Experience with online advertising and performance-based marketing - SEO / SEM / web analytics / PPC
    • Experience with content creation
    • Experience with organising events - advantage
    • Skilled user of PowerPoint and Excel 
    • Required languages: English, Hindi

    As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for assessing different partner’s business and for developing successful sales strategies including negotiating supply agreements, providing product training, the introduction of new products and managing day-to-day business. You will help to drive SolarEdge revenue and market share in your region.


    What will you be doing?

    • Identify sales opportunities following the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
    • Sales Forecast & Achieving the revenue Targets for the region.
    • Responsible for sending technical pre-sales documents to Customers & initiate Cold calls
    • Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts
    • Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors and utility companies
    • Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
    • Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at all levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
    • Maintain accurately and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
    • Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the Eastern, North East and Central Regions market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
    • Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory
    • Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand
    • Creation of regional sales plan and forecasting in alignment with business objectives/Strategies
    • Attend tradeshows and conferences and continuously educate customers through workshops, seminars, training and attending conferences
    • Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering/ MBA in Sales & Marketing (Advantage)
    • Should be able to operate from Hyderabad locations and responsible for Sales and Sales operations activities for Eastern, North East and Central Regions
    • Around 2~6 Years of total experience in sales and sales operation activities in the High Power/ Grid Connected/ Renewable Energy Products / UPS industry
    • Strong business sense and solar industry network & contacts
    • Previous experience in the PV industry - a significant advantage
    • Candidates should have a verifiable record of successfully growing market share
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
    • A distinct customer service focus.
    • Fluent in Hindi, Bengali, Oriya and English

    What will you be doing?

    • Answer inbound calls cases, chats and e-mails from customers and contractors in the following queues:
    • Onsite/Offsite Optimizer Troubleshooting
    • Onsite/Offsite Inverter Troubleshooting
    • Onsite/Offsite Communication Troubleshooting
    • Provide support in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of grid tie solar inverter issues encountered in the installation and start up products by using general knowledge, product schematics, data stored in knowledgebase, and other sources of information available.
    • Work together with operations to validate the authorization to release parts needed to solve problems encountered by customers and contractors.
    • Provide updates to knowledge database used by other technical support representatives with new
    • troubleshooting information discovered in the resolution of customer calls.
    • Document all activity in ticketing system and other database software platforms.
    • Create layouts on the monitoring site at customer’s request
       

    Requirements:

    • At least 2 years of experience in professional customer service and in technical helpline or remote support.
    • Basic understanding of IP network technology.
    • Experience with solar electric products.
    • Exceptional listening and questioning skills.
    • Strong soft skill communication internally and externally.
    • Outstanding written communications skills in English.
    • Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working for an international organization is preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, peers and managers.
    • General understanding of Microsoft Office products and utilize them efficiently while on the phone with a caller.
    • Native local language, business communication skills in English

  • Field Service Engineer- Ahmedabad, Gujarat×

    What will you be doing?

    • Regional resource for issues resolution over the phone with qualified personnel when on site
    • Train, assist and supporting system troubleshooting and details with SolarEdge products at field and field problems resolution
    • Propose internally alternative system designs to achieve better functionality of the system- best practice and efficiency design methods
    • Travel to installers or end user customers to provide service or provide emergency repair service (fix, replace, install inverters and optimizers, communication equipment and SE accessories (CCG, sensors, metes, etc)
    • Assist/approve commissioning of residential or commercial Solar Systems and provide final commissioning report
    • Work together with operations to validate the authorization to release parts needed to solve problems encountered by customers and contractors
    • Manage the configuration database of customer installations/sites for products performance reporting, replacements or troubleshooting purposes
    • Advise customers concerning equipment operation, maintenance, or programming
    • Liaise with customers and EPCs to collect all necessary documentation and equipment requirements before the arrival of SEDG on site
    • Write reports for every site visit and lodge them in the CRM. Resolve cases lodged from customers in CRM.


    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Technical role, including 1 year that is a customer facing role
    • Valid driver license
    • Travelling to sites, predominately intra-state, but also nationally
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, peers and managers.
    • Self-contained and self-organized working style
