    Given our significant growth across the residential and commercial solar sectors, SolarEdge is now looking to engage a full time Field Service Engineer in our Netherlands office to assist our customers with servicing, troubleshooting and upgrading deployed SolarEdge equipment.


    What will you be doing?

    • Resolve issues over the phone with qualified personnel when on site;
    • Replace or assist in replacing SolarEdge products at field;
    • Propose alternative system designs to achieve better functionality of the system;
    • Travel to installers or end user customers to provide service or provide emergency repair service (fix, replace, install inverters and optimizers, communication equipment and SE accessories (CCG, sensors, metes, etc)
    • Assist in commissioning of residential or commercial Solar Systems;
    • Ensure that all qualifications remain up to date. These included. Driver’s license, certificates for tools;
    • Work together with operations to validate the authorization to release parts needed to solve problems encountered by customers and contractors
    • Manage the monitoring database of customer installations
    • Run training sessions with SolarEdge customers
    • Advise customers concerning equipment operation, maintenance, or programming;
    • Liaise with customers and EPCs to collect all necessary documentation and equipment requirements before the arrival of SEDGE on site;
    • Write reports for every site visit and lodge them in the CRM. Resolve cases lodged from customers in CRM;


    Requirements:

    • Electrical degree
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a Technical role, including 1 year that is a customer facing role
    • Valid driver license
    • Travelling to sites, predominately intra-state, but also nationally Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, peers and managers
    • Self-contained and self-organized working style
    • Working at heights license
    • Experience in SolarEdge products (inverters, optimizers, battery solutions) – an advantage!
    • Self-starter and quick learner
    • Customer oriented with excellent communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, partners, peers and managers
    • Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics with a good understanding of high voltage and measurement equipment.

    Responsibilities:
     

    • Creating string designs for residential and commercial systems.
    • Handling design and technical questions
    • Handling questions about the monitoring portal
    • Provide training and explanations on how to use the SolarEdge design tool, setapp, site mapper
    • Follow-up projects, during all phases of the installation, from design/ installation / commissioning/ and checking systems functionality after commissioning to ensure correct operation (remotely or on location).
    • Coordinate site visits for technical support during the installation phase and system commissioning, including: - Explanation and training on how to mount SolarEdge inverters and optimizers. - Explanation and training of the SolarEdge technology on location.
    • Become a technical expert in the field of SolarEdge products, problem solving and the commissioning process.
    • Maintaining the level of knowledge of all updates, changes, problems and solutions of the residential and commercial product range.
    • Advising installers regarding the AC and DC installation associated with PV systems.

     

    Requirements:

    • Completed electrical engineering training at MBO level (MTS)
    • Experience in both residential/ (large) commercial systems is a pre
    • Being able to independently elaborate and advise the AC and DC part of large solar systems
    • Having knowledge and maintenance of NEN1010 regarding AC and DC installations
    • Experience with MS Office (like Excel and Powerpoint)
    • Experience with Autocad
    • Have or are willing to obtain a VCA certificate

    Solaredge is looking for an ambitious, project minded and driven Support Project coordinator, to join our outstanding Dutch team. On this role, you will be responsible for multiple support projects from begin to end, striving for optimization of these projects while supporting our customers with the best possible service.

    What will you be doing?

    • Creating and implementing a plan of action, planning, work preparation and organization of project(s)
    • Maintain an up-to date status of all customer sites, current progress status, target date for completion
    • Maintain the right level (availability) of resources (SolarEdge Field Service and service partners) and the efficient use of these resources
    • Identifying and quantifying risks and taking control measures in each area in alignment with service manager.
    • Managing the orders of the project(s).
    • Correct invoicing and booking of orders and costs
    • Set up new KPI’s and reports to control the project(s)
    • High level of Communication with all other stakeholders during the project(s)
    • Provides periodic progress & status update & feedback to internal management, local and international

    Requirements:

    • Education- Bachelor degree
    • Minimum 2 year of experience working within a project organization or supporting projects within an organization
    • PV Solar experience – an advantage!
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • High level of Communication skills – on different levels within the company as with customers and partners
    • Project organization knowledge including administration of projects
    • Taking ownership of projects
    • Dutch Native and Fluent English – Must!
