  • Senior Sales Manager×

    What will you be doing?

    • Identify sales opportunities in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
    • Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts
    • Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors and utility companies
    • Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
    • Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at all levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
    • Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
    • Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the Taiwanese market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
    • Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory
    • Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand
    • Attend tradeshows and conferences
    • Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met


    Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree. BS in a related technical disciplines such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering – a plus!
    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in technical sales
    • Previous experience in the PV industry – a plus!
    • Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and successfully growing market share and identifying, negotiating/converting and closing large dollar deals
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
    • Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships
    • Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
    • A distinct customer service focus.
    • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience working for an international organization – a plus!
    • Fluent in Taiwanese and English – a must!

    What will you be doing?

    • End-to-end manage service RMA replenishment & shipment to ensure the RMA support to customers in Taiwan and in Rest of Asia is cost-effective and efficient.
    • Daily operation of RMAs through CRM and ERP systems
    • Coordinate for all logistics operations including import, export and inland movements.
    • Provide order confirmation to all Sales orders based on inventory constrains and availability
    • Manage spares inventory and report shortage to HQ
    • Coordinate with warehouse teams for dispatch of materials.
    • Coordinate with customers for return of faulty materials.
    • Coordinate with global logistics team for dispatch of materials.
    • Coordinate with logistics companies for organizing dispatch and pickup of materials.
    • Coordinate with customs authorities for timely release of materials
    • Coordinate with customers for consignment warehouses and inventory counts where applicable
    • Generate documents for logistics movements.
    • Build a tracker to track on customer replenishment & shipment status for customers.
    • Identify, report, log service warehouse shortage and track HQ replenishment to service warehouse
    • Directly interface customer logistic team to align required information and settle shipment relevant issues.
    • Arrange shipment in smart way to reflect cost effectiveness vs. good support to customer.
    • Work with CRM software’s for operations.
    • Perform timely audit of warehouse and inventory and complete inventory planning
    • Responsible for customer stock or spares available for service readiness
    • End to end order processing from PO to delivery, ensuring optimal practices for all processes.
    • Lead the ERP and internal data systems data management and updating in sync with HQ teams.
    • Continuous communication with worldwide SolarEdge interfaces: customers, finance and sales managers.
    • Issue weekly reports, reflecting order statuses & financial aspects. Follow up on contracting
    • Serve as lead point of contact for all customer needs


    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum two years of experience in logistics operations.
    • High level of English
    • Detailed understanding of customs procedures.
    • Knowledge of documentation requirements for logistics operations.
    • Organized
    • Expertise in excel.
    • Ability to work with CRM software’s.
    • A distinct customer service focus.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, peers and managers.
    • General understanding of Microsoft Office products and the ability to adapt to other computer systems quickly and utilize them efficiently.
    • Fluent in English and local language – both written and spoken
    • General understanding of Microsoft Office products and utilize them efficiently while on the phone with a caller
    • Experience working for an international organization is preferred.

    What you will be doing:

    • Build, lead and develop a high-performance Taiwan Service team to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty and establish Service as a unique selling point for SolarEdge.
    • Support constant improvements in the regional service infrastructure including local support centers, Field Service teams, and service-related administrative tasks including local Logistics
    • Develop and execute the Service support plan ensuring KPIs and cost targets are met.
    • Lead the technical interface and communication with local customers and act as the main service technical focal point for customer escalations or needs- including frequent meetings and service reviews.
    • Manage multiple teams of the call center (various Tiers), field engineers, and customer care specialists, including planning and reporting on their activities.
    • Measured on main company service KPIs such as call waiting time, abandon rate, SLA, response and resolution time for cases, and more and lead weekly service reviews with improvement plans.
    • Lead with key accounts customer care programs of frequent reviews of service open issues for increasing customer satisfaction level per the company target.
    • Management of the local RMA process.
    • Select, manage and reevaluate local Service Partners.
    • Lead the local Service Team incl. periodic team meetings, reporting, and bi-annual performance management activities.

       

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
    • Relevant experience in the Energy/Solar market in Taiwan- strongly preferred 
    • 5-10 years working experience in an international Service & Support organization
    • Minimum of 2 years management and leaderships experience in Service & Support.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in project/program management, preferably in the PV sector
    • Proven track record in Service operations, both process and productivity improvements.
