How mySolarEdge Helps System Owners Achieve Their Energy Goals
For homeowners, knowing how much solar energy their PV system is producing can be confusing. That’s why we developed mySolarEdge, the easy to use app that acts as the eyes and ears of the SolarEdge PV system. mySolarEdge allows system owners to conveniently track and manage their PV system in real-time, including monitoring the system performance from anywhere, identifying production and consumption patterns, controlling smart home devices on-the-go, and configuring inverter communications. This helps system owners fully maximize their savings and solar energy consumption throughout the day.
The mySolarEdge app has been recently updated with some really cool upgrades. We’ve completely revamped the mySolarEdge interface to make it even easier for system owners to view the status of their SolarEdge PV system’s performance, control their smart energy devices, and maximize electricity savings.
The app is available for free download from the Android and iOS app stores.

Navigation screen
With more intuitive graphics, you’ll notice a whole new look and feel for the power flow, including a stylish background that changes according to the weather and time of day. Real-time system monitoring enables owners to quickly see how much solar energy their system is producing. If they have battery storage, an EV charger, or other compatible smart home devices, homeowners can also view their status in the app.
New and updated graphs
System owners can compare their PV system’s overall performance and self-consumption over time with the new Energy Balance chart. This includes production, consumption (if they have a meter installed), how much electricity is imported and exported from the grid, battery usage (if applicable), and much more. We’ve also improved the graphs to compare daily production and consumption with previous days by using maximum levels as a benchmark.

Maximize electricity savings
Using our new and updated graphs, system owners can use the charts to identify their household consumption patterns and shift their energy usage to match peak solar production hours. If they have an energy meter, they can also use the app to detect any unusual consumption patterns and even understand when it’s time to add a few more batteries or other smart devices for even more savings.

Independently perform a variety of tasks
System owners that have SetApp-enabled inverters and inverter’ software version 4.7 or higher, can perform a number of functions without having to contact their installer, including changing their Wi-Fi password, configuring inverter communications, accessing the SolarEdge Support Center, and viewing the details of their inverter’s status directly from the app.
