    Responsibilities
     

    • Create, implement and maintain a marketing strategy for SolarEdge India with the vision based on SolarEdge being the #1 Choice for smart energy solutions. Your touch points are mostly B2B but with increasing emphasis on B2B2C.
    • Perform market research and analysis and obtain valuable insights into India’s PV market and customers - and use these insights to grow market share.
    • Develop and initiate various marketing activities for the Indian market (within the annual marketing budget for the region, which you will manage).
    • Collaborate with distributors, installers, and developers on marketing initiatives.
    • Manage the end-to-end production of events including exhibitions, trainings and customer event (includes managing timelines, venues, suppliers, payments, legal obligations, staffing and budgets, invitations etc).
    • Develop marketing content for product brochures, case studies, campaigns, technical and sales presentations, and social media platforms.
    • Plan and execute digital campaigns for lead generation.
    • Work closely with HQ marketing & product marketing managers, MarCom staff, graphic designers, on production of events and materials.

     

    Requirements
     

    • 3 years’ experience in marketing manager
    • Education: University Degree essential
    • Industry Experience: Renewable energy, high-tech, power electronics, electric vehicle industries are highly preferable but not essential
    • Advanced oral and written communication skills
    • Meticulous planning and organizational abilities
    • Skilled user of PowerPoint and Excel
    • Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure and retain cross-group collaborations
    • Solid analytical skills with consistent attention to detail
    • Experience with CRM Tools & Marketing Automation tools – Newsletters/ E-Invites - Preferred
    • Fluent English – a MUST, Hindi – Preferred
    • Based in Bangalore

    Responsibilities
     

    • Answer inbound calls and e-mails from customers and contractors in a prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous
    • manner documenting all information into call tracking system
    • Provide support in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of grid tie solar inverter issues encountered in the
    • installation and start up products by using general knowledge, product schematics, data stored in
    • knowledgebase, and other sources of information available.
    • Work together with operations to validate the authorization to release parts needed to solve problems
    • encountered by customers and contractors.
    • Provide updates to knowledge database used by other technical support representatives with new
    • troubleshooting information discovered in the resolution of customer calls.
    • Manage the monitoring database of customer installations.
    • Document all activity in ticketing system and other database software platforms.
    • Create layouts on the monitoring site at customer’s request
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with
    • customers, peers and managers.
    • General understanding of Microsoft Office products and utilize them efficiently while on the phone with a caller.

     

    Requirements
     

    • At least two years of experience in professional customer service and in technical helpline or remote support.
    • Basic understanding of IP network technology.
    • Experience with solar electric products.
    • Exceptional listening and questioning skills.
    • Outstanding written communications skills in English.
    • Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working for an international organization is preferred.
    • Engineering or technical qualification in electrical and electronics a must.
    • Ability to work in shifts.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, peers and managers.

  • Sales Manager - Kolkata×

    As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for assessing different partner’s business and for developing successful sales strategies including negotiating supply agreements, providing product training, the introduction of new products and managing day-to-day business. You will help to drive SolarEdge revenue and market share in your region.


    What will you be doing?

    • Identify sales opportunities following the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
    • Sales Forecast & Achieving the revenue Targets for the region.
    • Responsible for sending technical pre-sales documents to Customers & initiate Cold calls
    • Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts
    • Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors and utility companies
    • Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
    • Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at all levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
    • Maintain accurately and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
    • Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the Eastern, North East and Central Regions market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
    • Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory
    • Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand
    • Creation of regional sales plan and forecasting in alignment with business objectives/Strategies
    • Attend tradeshows and conferences and continuously educate customers through workshops, seminars, training and attending conferences
    • Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering/ MBA in Sales & Marketing (Advantage)
    • Should be able to operate from Kolkata locations and responsible for Sales and Sales operations activities for Eastern, North East and Central Regions
    • Around 2~6 Years of total experience in sales and sales operation activities in the High Power/ Grid Connected/ Renewable Energy Products / UPS industry
    • Strong business sense and solar industry network & contacts
    • Previous experience in the PV industry - a significant advantage
    • Candidates should have a verifiable record of successfully growing market share
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
    • A distinct customer service focus.
    • Fluent in Hindi, Bengali, Oriya and English
