    As an Account Manager, you have a track record in solar and you will be responsible for assessing different partner’s business and for developing successful sales strategies, providing product training, introduction of new products and managing day-to-day business. You will help drive SolarEdge revenue and market share. Your product portfolio is not limited to solar PV only. EV chargers, storage and home automation will be part of your scope.


    What will you be doing?

    • Identify sales opportunities in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
    • Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts, including EPC and regional or local installers
    • Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers and occasion distributors
    • Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
    • Nurture the relationship with leading Installers and EPC’s at all levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
    • Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
    • Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the residential and small commercial market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
    • Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory
    • Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand
    • Attend tradeshows and conferences
    • Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met
    • Provide training about the functionalities of the products in the portfolio ranging from design software, product features to monitoring portal functionalities


    Requirements:

    • You are an A-player!
    • BA/BS degree. BS in a related technical disciplines such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering a plus.
    • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in technical sales
    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Solar
    • Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and verifiable record of successfully growing market share
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
    • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating/converting and closing large dollar deals
    • Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships
    • Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
    • A distinct customer service focus
    • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience working for an international organization is preferred
    • Native Dutch speaker and Fluent English

    As a commercial marketing manager, you will define the marketing strategy of the commercial segment and work with different departments within the company for the execution.
    You will report directly the Senior Marketing Manager for Benelux and you will be based in Vianen, The Netherlands with a focus on the Netherlands but responsibilities spanning the Benelux market. You will be primarily office based but expected to travel from time-to-time within the region to meet customers and attend events.

     

    In order to achieve this, you’ll be expected to:
     

    • Seek valuable insights into your market – a large number of parties are involved in the buying decision with a diversity in buying arguments – that will be used to define the marketing strategy
    • Learn in depth about SolarEdge solution and contribute ideas to stay ahead of the competition
    • Make it easier for our target audience to access SolarEdge’s commercial PV portfolio by ensuring our Marcom activities tune-in their needs

    Responsibilities (not exclusively):
     

    • Define the marketing strategy for the commercial PV market in the Netherlands according to the needs of the market and sales team
    • Create marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and / or generate leads
    • Establish the online customer journey for difference target audiences and create content such as articles, website content, case studies, success stories, video testimonials
    • Events management, including exhibitions, conferences, customer training programs and webinars
    • Managing public relations activities together with our PR agencies to maximise exposure
    • Maintain customer databases and use marketing automation tools effectively to communicate with customers, as well as analyzing the efficacy of campaigns – experience in Hubspot is advantage
    • Being a proud Ambassador of the SolarEdge brand, giving a good impression during all customer-facing interactions
    • Ensure purity and integrity of translations from English into the native language(s) in your region

     

    Requirements:
     

    • Native Dutch speaker, fluent in English
    • University Degree essential. Preference for degree in: Marketing, Business Admin, Technical Design or Engineering.
    • Marketing Experience: mid-senior level, at least 5 years’ minimum in Marketing, including digital marketing and events management and used to deal with complex DMU’s in a B2B environment
    • Industry Experience: Renewable energy, high-tech, power electronics, electric vehicle industries are highly preferable but not essential
    • You will be capable of demonstrating the following soft skills and attributes

    Requirements
     

    • 3+ years of field technical service in solar industry
    • Education - Electro technical engineering degree or similar (by work experience and technical education)
    • Knowledge of industry and experience managing accounts
    • Willingness to travel and customer facing activities required.
    • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and adaptive, smart problem solving, often looking for solutions that readily scale and have fleet wide impact with positive outcomes.
    • Strong verbal communication skills including effective cross-functional communication habits in order to effect change on behalf of customer.
    • Demonstrated ability to interface with strategic customers and contacts at an executive and staff level- board room to roof top abilities.
    • Proven ability to deliver high level of customer service and a strong technical aptitude.
