Create a Monitoring Platform Account

  1. SolarEdge is the manufacturer of the inverter and power optimizers used in your solar installation.
    •SolarEdge offers installers access to the SolarEdge Monitoring Platform as a method to better monitor their installations.
    •SolarEdge maintains the monitoring servers and offers installers the ability create sites and invite their customers as users --
    Note: SolarEdge does not create or monitor any monitoring sites, and SolarEdge Technicians cannot add users to the portal.
  2. Contact your installer to receive access to the monitoring portal.
    •Your installer is your Portal Administrator and can send you an invitation via email.
    •Your installer will set your level of access -- Dashboard, Dashboard and Layout, Full Access
    •Your installer should configure your alert settings to meet your needs.
    •As a best practice, be sure to clarify if the installer is providing monitoring services, if any. This is usually outlined in your installation contract with them. SolarEdge does not monitor any sites.

  3. You will receive an email invitation to set up your login credentials.
    Note: In some cases, the email service provider may "break" the registration link (it cannot be clicked). If you receive a broken registration link, simply copy the entire link and paste it into your browser to continue.

  4. Decide how you want to view the portal: Download the mySolarEdge App to view your site on mobile - OR - login to the SolarEdge Monitoring Portal on a computer HERE

  5. Use your new login credentials to access your site.
