Details
- The programme covers energy loss resulting from Power Optimizer downtime (excluding downtime attributable to external factors like site, inverter, or string issues) for up to 6 months after the stop of production.
- Coverage is also provided to the EPC for up to 2 site visits per year for the purpose of Power Optimizer maintenance and replacement.
- Reports are available in the Monitoring Platform that can provide details of relevant energy loss and compensation.
Process
- Fill out an application, which will be reviewed by SolarEdge who will need to confirm that all the site components are communicating properly.
- Once confirmation is received from SolarEdge, the AdvantEdge programme tab will become activated.
- Customer is required to submit an invoice to SolarEdge no later than 30 days after receiving the report for energy loss compensation.
Coverage Conditions and Indicators
- Site coverage requires a complete physical layout and optimiser map along with a full day of production at a site which has gone into full commercial operation.
- Coverage does not start automatically and requires a confirmation email from SolarEdge.
- Once coverage has started an “AdvantEdge Active” mark is visible in the monitoring site dashboard.
Monitoring, Reports, and Compensation Policies
- Energy losses are calculated per Power Optimizer, based on production data from other Power Optimizers in the system.
- The compensation rate is determined based on the relevant Feed-in Tariff / Electricity price per kWh, which the customer provides in the signed registration form.
- Loss of production is only covered in the case of a direct Power Optimizer issue.
- The customer is required to submit an invoice to SolarEdge no later than 30 days after receiving the AdvantEdge report.
