Maximizing PV site safety
When automatically triggered by a fire alarm panel or manually using the emergency stop button*, the Firefighter Gateway solution immediately initiates shutdown procedures, so any active power production is stopped within seconds. SolarEdge’s SafeDC™ technology automatically reduces high DC voltage to touch-safe levels, ensuring maximum site safety.
Real-time system status is displayed via the SolarEdge Go app and an optional on-site display*, ensuring full transparency during critical events. An alert is also immediately triggered on SolarEdge’s ONE for C&I monitoring platform, highlighting the source of the system shutdown.
