Maximizing PV site safety

Wherever the ONE Controller with C&I’s Firefighter Gateway solution is in operation, firefighters can immediately stop production of a SolarEdge PV system, either manually through an emergency stop button* or automatically through a fire alarm control panel system. This automatically reduces string voltage to a safe voltage using the unique SolarEdge SafeDC™ feature.

Clear visual confirmation that high DC voltage has been safely reduced is also possible via an optional external display*.

Maximum flexibility with two modes of operation

In Manual Mode, the system can be manually shut down in non-emergency situations using a locally supplied emergency stop button
In Automatic Mode, shutdown occurs automatically when the fire alarm control panel is triggered.
No external interaction is required. Once activated, the Firefighter Gateway solution signals to the ONE for C&I software platform that the PV system has been shut down, and an alert will be generated.
