Real-time S0 meter insight via the Monitoring Platform

Meters with an S0 interface transmit energy measurements with pulses, using a dry contact relay. The pulses are then counted and represented as kWh values in the inverter display and in the Dashboard and Charts tabs of the SolarEdge Monitoring Platform.

SolarEdge doesn’t sell S0 meters but does support S0 meters that comply with the EN 62053-31 standard. S0 meter configuration is also supported by SetApp – for detailed installation and configuration instructions, refer to this application note.
