New Features and Enhancements

For North America installations –

  • Support for cellular modem (LTE)
  • Support for UL1741 PCS ESS export only mode

Fixes

  • When system production < 200W, PV production values in the monitoring platform's power flow diagram might show 0 (the energy charts production values are not affected)

Known Issues

  • "Status: OK" and "TCP failure error" are displayed alternatively in the Server Communication Status screen of inverters with cellular modem if the connection with the SolarEdge server failed.
    Workaround: If your network has a firewall, you may need to configure it to the following address to enable the connection:
    • Destination Address: prod.solaredge.com
    • TCP Port: 22222 (for incoming and outgoing data)
  • "No SIM Card" error will be displayed if SIM is inserted after power-up.
    Workaround: Perform AC cycle

Important notes

  • If DSP1 version >= 1.210.600 it will upgrade to version 1.210.1427
  • If DSP1 version >= 1.210.24 (and < 1.210.217) it will upgrade to version 1.210.217
  • Use Firefox or Chrome browsers to download firmware files.
  • The firmware file can only be loaded to a memory card that meets the specifications listed in the Software Upgrade using SD/MicroSD card application note.
