With the previous string inverter site, PV array performance was limited by the lowest producing module. SolarEdge Power Optimizers enable each module to produce at its highest capacity, increasing site production.
Similarly, the fixed string voltage of the SolarEdge inverters supports more modules per string. This reduced the number of strings from 32 to 8, significantly saving on DC cabling, which reduced insulation fault incidence to avoid late inverter wake-up.
