Residential FAQ
Why am I being asked to renew my plan?
Your system includes a modem with a built-in, prepaid 5-year data plan that connects to our cloud server. This allows your system to communicate between your installer and the SolarEdge Monitoring Platform.
Isn’t this covered in my inverter warranty extension?
The inverter warranty extension covers only the inverter itself and does not include any built-in communication accessories. For further details, click here.
What happens if I do not renew?
While your system will continue to produce solar energy without a renewed plan, your data plan enables your installer to provide remote support, potentially saving the expense of an onsite service call. It is also necessary for connecting to the SolarEdge Monitoring Platform and mySolarEdge mobile app.
Can I cancel my plan at any time?
Residential systems (under 15 kW) have 1-year terms. Chat With Us if you have a specific cancellation request.
What is the current expiration date of my plan, and where can I find this information?
We are currently working on adding this information to the mySolarEdge app. In the meantime, Chat With Us to help answer your question.
How is my plan pricing determined?

Alternative Connectivity Options:
