SolarEdge C&I PV+Storage combines SolarEdge inverters, SolarEdge ONE Energy Management System (EMS), and Socomec’s energy storage system to simplify deployment and maximize ITC eligibility — from commissioning through the project’s lifetime. It's designed to empower:
- C&I Developers and EPCs to reduce project complexity with a two-vendor model, single commissioning visit, and unified support
- Asset Owners to maximize ROI with intelligent energy management, 30%+ ITC eligibility, and lower operational costs
Key Advantages
SolarEdge ONE EMS
The SolarEdge ONE EMS is the on-site energy management platform that communicates with project assets like SolarEdge PV inverters, Socomec’s energy storage system, energy meters, and weather sensors to enable real-time plant performance metrics, custom alerts and alarms, and energy optimization controls.
Energy Optimization Modes
Designed to optimize energy consumption for a wide range of sectors and needs
- Export Limit / Zero Export / Import Limit Controls the power fed into or taken from the grid.
- Maximized Self-Consumption Store excess solar production in the battery during the day, for use later when needed.
- Peak Shaving Reduce kW meter reading by discharging the battery at the time of peak site load.
- Time-of-Use (TOU) Set schedules to reduce or eliminate energy consumed by the loads during peak and super peak events.

FAQs
What is SolarEdge C&I PV+Storage?
SolarEdge C&I PV+Storage is a pre-integrated solar-plus-storage solution combining SolarEdge inverters, SolarEdge ONE EMS, and Socomec energy storage — designed for ITC eligibility and better project economics from commissioning through project lifetime.
What are the main components of the solution?
The solution includes SolarEdge Commercial Inverters and Power Optimizers, SolarEdge ONE Manager (on-site controller), Socomec SUNSYS HES L battery storage (battery cabinet and battery inverter), and a SolarEdge C&I cloud-based monitoring and controls platform.
Is the solution eligible for the Investment Tax Credit (ITC)?
The solution is designed for 30%+ ITC eligibility with full FEOC compliance and domestic content options for PV inverters.
Can I add storage to an existing SolarEdge PV system?
Yes. The solution is retrofit-ready — add Socomec storage to existing SolarEdge sites with no PV system redesign. The SolarEdge ONE Manager and Socomec energy storage integrate seamlessly.
What energy optimization modes are supported?
The system supports maximized self-consumption, peak shaving, time-of-use (TOU) optimization, and export/import limit controls. These modes are designed to optimize energy consumption and maximize ROI for a wide range of C&I applications.
What battery configurations are available?
The Socomec SUNSYS HES L offers 204kWh to 612kWh battery capacity (1-3 cabinets) with 50-300kVA power output per skid and 2-4 hour standard configurations.
Is the solution cybersecure?
Yes. The system is certified to the latest global cyber-security standards. Site communicates externally via secured connections to ensure business continuity.
What safety certifications does the storage system have?
The Socomec storage system is certified to UL 9540 and tested to UL 9540A with multi-layer safety for each cell, cluster, and cabinet, plus an integrated fire suppression system.
How do I design a PV+Storage system?
SolarEdge Designer supports PV+Storage system design with best-fit storage sizing for Socomec systems. Software pre-integration reduces commissioning time.
What types of services can this be installed on?
This PV and energy storage solution is designed for 480VAC grid connections.
Is the system capable of backup operation?
This PV and energy storage solution is capable of backup operation, please contact your SolarEdge sales representative for more information on additional hardware and design requirements needed for operation.
Do I need a UPS for the ONE Manager?
A UPS is not required for operation for grid-tied applications. For projects with backup, an external, 24V UPS should be added to keep the control powered during the off-grid transition states.
What hardware is required for the SolarEdge ONE Manager?
For grid-tied applications, the only additional hardware required are the revenue-grade CTs. If weather data is needed for the project, then the applicable weather sensors would need to be ordered as well. For off-grid applications, please contact your SolarEdge sales representative.
