FAQ’s
Will I still have backup power during outages?
Yes. Your SolarEdge Home Battery will continue to operate based on your system settings outside of scheduled program events.
What happens during a program event?
During periods of high electricity demand on non-holiday weekdays, your battery may automatically provide energy to reduce demand on the electric grid. No action is required from you.
Do I need to do anything during an event?
No. Once you're enrolled, participation is automatic.
How much can I earn?
Participants earn $150 per kW per season, with rewards capped at $400 per season and $800 per year. Actual rewards depend on your battery's performance during program events.
Who is eligible?
The program is available to PPL Electric Utilities residential customers with compatible battery systems.
When do events occur?
Program events occur on non-holiday weekdays during predefined summer and winter event windows, as outlined in the program terms.
