You’ll receive guidance to help optimize your battery’s performance in alignment with your SRP price plan, so you can reduce usage during higher-cost, on-peak periods. And when demand on the grid rises, your battery can step in to earn you additional bill credits for participating in scheduled events.
There’s no upfront incentive. Rewards are based on your system’s contribution during events.

What is the SRP Battery Partner™ Program?
The SRP Battery Partner™ Program allows your battery system to support the grid during periods of high demand. In return, you can earn bill credits based on how much energy your system contributes during these events.
How much can I earn with SRP Battery Partner™ Program ?
You can earn up to $110 per kW annually, based on your system’s average contribution during events.
Bill credits are applied directly to your SRP account after each season.
How are incentives calculated?
Your incentives are based on the additional energy your battery delivers during events, compared to its typical performance.
SRP calculates a baseline using your system’s past performance during similar days. You earn bill credits for the extra energy your battery contributes above this baseline during events.
How does the SRP Battery Partner™ Program work?
- Your battery operates as usual day to day
- During periods of high demand, SRP may schedule events
- Your battery may discharge stored energy during these events
- Your contribution is measured across the season
- You receive bill credits based on performance
Events typically last 2–3 hours, with a maximum of 4 hours, and may occur throughout the year.
How often will events occur?
Customers may be called to participate in up to 80 events per program year, across summer and winter seasons.

Can I leave the program at any time?
Yes, you can choose to withdraw from the program at any time. However, withdrawing may affect your eligibility to receive bill credits for the current season.
What happens during an event?
During an event, your battery may automatically discharge stored energy to support the grid. These events are designed to work within your system’s available capacity and typically last a few hours.
Can I participate with an existing SolarEdge Home Battery?
Yes! If you meet the eligibility requirements and have a current Home Battery model, you can enroll. The battery models that qualify include:
SE3000H-US, SE3800H-US, SE6000H-US, SE7600H-US, SE10000H-US, SE11400H-US inverters paired with BAT-10K1P and LG CHEM RESU10H
Will I still have backup power in case of an outage?
Yes! You choose how much of your stored energy to contribute using your MySolarEdge app. We recommend 20% reserved storage to maximize program benefits while maintaining backup.
