SolarEdge and PearlX Bring Affordable Community Solar to Texas
Community Solar Project Benefits Low and Middle-Income Renters
Just more evidence that solar is the future of accessible, smart energy living!
A new press release has announced our exciting partnership with nationwide, flexible energy provider, PearlX. Through a series of solar+storage virtual power plants (VPPS) at multi-family real estate communities throughout Texas, low and middle-income renters will now have access to cost-effective, clean energy year-round and benefit from uninterrupted living.
Dubbed “Project TexFlex”, the community solar and storage program will use our award-winning SolarEdge Energy Hub inverter technology, along with our SolarEdge Energy Bank home batteries, for its first VPP in Houston – with more to come throughout the state. This will lead to a greater stabilization of the region’s grid, lower costs for the average energy consumer, and fewer outages.
